Hi! I just joined today and think that this is quite a wonderful site, and am pleased to be a new member to this community; of course, like all newbies, I have a few things I'd like to clarify. I want to create a tom called Swanpaw. I did notice in the list of used names that there is a cat called Swanstep, but I was unsure if the rules meant whether I am not allowed to use the whole of the name or just the prefix or something. In short, am I still allowed to call my apprentice Swanpaw, or do I have to choose a different prefix entirely? Also, as I have not seen any rules regarding disabilities or anything similar on this site, I want to make sure I'm not breaking any rules; am I allowed to have Swanpaw be entirely deaf? He is a blue-eyed white tom, and in RL the blue-eyed white pelt gene is most often deaf. He does not speak and uses body language as well as a sign language of sorts to communicate with other cats. I have roleplayed him before on other websites (I have samples if they are needed) and know what stereotypes to avoid whilst playing completely deaf cats, but if I do need to purchase his deafness through feathers or something, I completely understand. Thanks! -Willowfoot

The Used Name list needs to be updated, just check the names in the accpeted Characters list just to be sure! I only saw Snowstep, if that is what you were talking about?
Though, yes, you can create a cat named Swanpaw. I have a cat named Ivyclaw, and there is another cat named Ivyheart. In a ceremony, the leader will choose your name for you since you're an apprentice(unless you want to name yourself, you must go to the Feather Exchange), so don't fret!
As for disabilities, you should check in the Feather Exchange also. If you see anything in particular for your cat, then you'd probably have to buy it using feathers. But I'm not entirely sure that you'd need to buy Deafness since I don't see it listed? I have a cat that is blind in one eye, I didn't need to buy that.

Quick question also, are rogues/loners allowed? If so, where can I post a character for it? (If I can anyway XD)
