Gathering [September 2014 | Newleaf]

A single eye glowed brightly from the shadows, while the shadowed eye that gave the Fogclan leader his name gave off no glow at all. He had brought his clan here early since everyone had seemed irritated at him being late at the last gathering. Though the tensions between Ashclan and Snowclan may have been what set everyone off to begin with, his being late didn't help much.  But he was here early this time, and Starclan willing there would be no clouds covering the moon this time when tensions got high. Shadowstar settled down next to the pond and awaited the arrival of the other leaders and their clans.

Clawstar padded in, his head held high. StoneClan was suffering a little from this unusually long snow, but they had nothing to worry about. The mountains would shelter the worst of it. He gazed into the clearing, mossy eyes gleaming with the light of the full moon. Flicking his tail for his clan he stalked into the clearing and settled near the large oak. He wondered if Reedwhisker would consider asking the other medicine cats for herbs since that was one area StoneClan seemed to fare the worst in. He wouldn't request it though, that was Medicine Cat business and he trusted his Medicine Cat to do what was needed.

» C R O W F E A T H E R ; ; Crowfeather quickly followed her leader's footsteps as she was not one to be late to a gathering. She hastily leaped through the snow, sinking with every pounce. StarClan willing, it's almost over, she promised herself, hoping this to be the last gathering with snow for a while. The weather was wearing on her nerves, so she chose a secluded spot from where she would be unscathed and still listen to the clans discuss matters. Her new apprentice was dragging behind but she did not bother to wait.

Shadowstar's eyes narrowed as he looked around for his deputy, his similar colored deputy had not arrived with the rest of the clan. The black and white Fogclan leader groomed a paw and dragged it over his ear, watching Clawstar arrive with his clan. Now where were Gorsestar and Eveningstar, he wondered. Surely they would arrive soon, then the leaders could speak their peace and everyone could go back to their respective territories and nice warm dens.
