What are feathers?
Feathers are the out of character currency of Faint of Heart. You may spend your feathers in the Feather Exchange for in character and out of character goodies. You can view how many feathers you have by hovering over your icon to the left of your posts or on your profile.
How do I earn feathers?
Feathers are earned by posting and responding to threads across the forum. These feathers are added automatically to your account and accumulate over time. You can also win more feathers by competing in site-wide plots and contests!
Am I allowed to trade my feathers?
At this time, no. Feathers are non-tradable. The ones you earn are yours to keep! However, some rewards can be purchased for your friends. Rewards that you can gift to others will be marked with a ✒ symbol. To use these, just comment on your friend's application thread (as these rewards are generally for litter bonuses) confirming that you would like to use your purchased bonus on them.
How do I make purchases?
Go to the Feather exchange thread and fill out the form at the bottom of the post. There is no need to make a new thread to request something! I will deduct your spent feathers and you will be able to use the reward.
What if I buy a reward and decide I don't want to use it now?
Please let me know and I will return your feathers. We don't keep track of unused rewards, so if you purchase something, try to be sure that you want to use it within the next day or two! Request logs are cleared periodically.
